Craft Room!

Bought two of these at a thrift store

Spray paint and new upholstry - good as new!

My little helper, peeking around the new table ;)

Two cubby shelves from Target for about $25 each, plus 1 hollow core door from a thrift store for $6, plus fabric to cover (stapled to underside), and a thin plastic to go on top = craft table that seats atleast 4 people AND holds LOTS of stuff!

A closer view of my thrift store treasures - sewing desk $30 and ribbon storage $6.

All things girly, and thrifty - yes, please!

Yep.  You guessed it.  Something else I found on http://www.pinterest.com/. The original creator actually used an old, hollowed out dresser.  So Mom and I went thrift store shopping to find one!  We ended up spotting this old hutch and figured we could make it work.  Sure enough:
 removal of shelf
a paint job
added wooden dowel that Lowe's even cut for me
 knobs to hold jewelry
stickers that read the lovely Cinderella quote, "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes"
the most perfect glittery fabric to cover the back board and tada!
A place to store all of Natalie's sweet dress up things! I absolutely LOVE it. <3

DIY Glittery Ornaments

Another great idea I found on http://www.pinterest.com/! These were super cheap and easy - clear ornaments from Michael's, furniture wax, glitter, and a funnel!

More organization tricks:

Laundry room,  bathroom,   & bedroom doors

Scarves on a curtain rod, hung on the wall!

Pinterest Inspired Home Organizing

Have you checked out http://www.pinterest.com/ yet?  Well, beware, because time isn't standing still and there are a million things you are going to want to check out!
I've been completely inspired to not only try new (yummy) recipes, but to organize every room in the house! Check out one of my first projects!
Under the cabinet, homemade spice rack!

Heavy duty magnets from Walmart, plus salt/pepper shakers (2 for $.97)
Cookie sheet drilled into bottom of kitchen cabinet, salt shaker filled, labeled, and stuck on with magnet!
Now that should save me some (in the) cabinet space!
